Star Multi Care Services provides the highest quality home healthcare services in any number of alternative care settings as well as your own home. By offering 24 hour-a-day availability, our home health professionals can help you fill your care needs on your schedule and allow you to maintain as much of your normal lifestyle as possible.
We are dedicated to compassionate, caring service. The professionals we employ understand that a balance of personal attention and medical care is necessary to promote an optimal healing process.
Our services extend outward from New York City and the outlying boroughs to all residents of Nassau and Suffolk Counties; from the heart of Queens to the East End of Long Island. We also have offices in Florida, so you can be assured that we are committed to providing the best service possible for those people who reside, or have family members who reside, in both states.
What We Do
I’m not sure what I need in home care or what is available; can Star Multi Care help me?
Our Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses work one-on-one with your physician and handle everything about the management of your home care from admission to discharge. They understand that the stress often associated with the decision to employ home health care goes beyond emotional and includes physical and financial stress as well. Their hands-on approach to patient care and advocacy will ease the burden on you and your family so that all energies can be spent on the healing process.
What types of services can I request?
Are Star Multi Care Service professionals well-trained?
Yes – we carefully screen our nurses for valid nursing licenses, appropriate skill levels, and prior related experience and background. They are all required, under their license, to have had at least one year of experience in a hospital or clinical setting. Nursing skills are carefully reviewed on an annual basis to ensure the highest competency levels.
What if I don’t need full nursing assistance?
Our home health aides and certified nursing assistants are bonded. They work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, helping patients on the road to recovery or simply to help them maintain their current lifestyle. They assist patients with activities of daily living including personal care, household tasks, and meal preparation. They also aware that their patient’s comfort is of the utmost importance, helping them live the best life possible.
My recovery is almost complete – can I get help with daily chores?
Our companions and sitters help you make a smooth transition from patient status to total recovery with services such as light house cleaning, laundry, pharmacy pick-up, shopping and meal preparation.
I have family members that live in both New York and in Florida – will this be a problem?
We have offices in both states with experienced, knowledgeable and compassionate employees who will provide quality, uninterrupted care to those who divide their year between New York and Florida.

For residents of Nassau and Suffolk counties, we are located on Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station, 40 miles east of New York City. That means convenient access to our services, whether you live in the heart of Queens or the East End of Long Island.
